I met the alien God!

My boss ….. I mean my conscience
Gave me a mission to accomplish.
I walked down from my small hut.
I was not alone, my friends were with me:
My unsatisfied desires , my hopes, my future ….
I was holding their hands and following their ways.
We walked for 16 years and some months.

My feet were bleeding because of thorns in the way.
My hands were held tight with cultural chains.
My face was red because of  those hard slaps.
My ears were tired of hearing  “ you are pagan “
My body was weak to crawl the path.

After passing all those barriers
We arrived to God’s home.
We were so surprised.
I was happy but showing that with floods of tears.
Yes, he was poorer than we all.

He sat alone in a small throne made of nothing.
His door was without guards.
He was not a scary king.

I begin to love him.
Now, he is my God not my owner.
I am his creature not his servant.
There was no religion that could help me.
I found him in my heart.
He was waiting for me.

  1. Ah-hah! Now that I posted once, the comment area just opens for me! Nice.
I have already told you what I think of this poem-I love that you found God right where God has always been, within your heart. <3
